Position SummaryThe candidate will work in a global context environment, on local and global programs, closely with release teams and other functional groups; he/she will own all technical aspects of the product, testing and changes, proactively recognizing any possible issues and develop solutions to meet product requirements within time and cost limits.
Main opportunities and challenges:The candidate will bring his / her broad knowledge and experience with Dana LV Management by contributing in the definition of LV technology product roadmap with the aim to expand Dana LV competitiveness in the target product field.
Main ResponsibilitiesLead the engineering team across all competencies in order to deliver a product to stakeholder requirementsResponsible for the engineering activities through all development phases in order to guarantee the correct technical definition, performance and reliabilityNegotiate the requirements with stakeholder at system level to be harmonized with internal specification and organizationLead the cross-regional technical core team consisting of the various subsystems ownersLead the EDU System DFMEA preparation and supports the definition of the system/subsystems DVPTechnical interface with the customer at system level for: Attributes (NVH, Power/Torque, Efficiency, Thermal, Weight), Requirements, Technical Sign-Off and DVP&RInvolve subsystem owners and/or specialists for detailed discussions with the customerReports out to external/internal in regular projects reviews and issues escalationSupport in definition of LV Technology Development Plan, with focus on innovative products bringing his competencies and expertise in analyzing product, technologies and market trends by the investigation of customers, suppliers and competitors products, participating and collecting information from main Engineering CongressesJob RequirementsEducation: University Master Degree Vehicle \ Mechanical \ Aerospace or Equivalent
Professional background: 5-8 years of relevant experience in design and development of automotive electrified products.
Hard Skills Essential: Gears, Transmission, electrified Powertrain Ability to travel Fluent English
Considered as a plus: Problem solving techniques (Red-X, 8D), DFMEA according to AIAG std
Soft Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills, working in global cross functional team. Analytical thinking skills, open mind and team working oriented. Ability to manage complexity with an high sense of accountability, proactivity and accuracy.
