Chief Engineer

Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Temp Chief Engineer for a 50m yacht. We are seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to join a 50m yacht on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily engineering operations and addressing any technical issues that may arise.
Requirements
Chief Engineer up to 3,000 kW (Merchant Navy) or Second Engineer Unlimited CoC holder (Merchant Navy). Valid STCW Reg. III/2 certification. Proven experience in a similar role on yachts or commercial vessels. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Responsibilities
Oversee and manage daily engine room operations and maintenance. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting of machinery. Handle any technical issues or emergencies as they arise. Collaborate with the crew to ensure smooth operation and adherence to protocols. Start date: ASAP
Duration: 1 month approx.
Location: Imperia
Salary: EUR 8000
Based in Imperia for the duration of the temporary role. No guests.
