JOB DESCRIPTION
RESPOND TO THE HEAD OF EXTERIOR DESIGN – AUTOMOTIVE, and guide a rotating team of designers under your watch.
You will WORK TRANSVERSELY ACROSS SUB-DEPARTMENTS (such as CAS and physical modelers, engineers, paint shop, CGI artist and relevant stakeholders) and closely collaborate with our clients.
BE THE AMBASSADOR OF PININFARINA while interacting with the client. Understand and implement the needs of the client while upholding the stylistic values of Pininfarina.
INDEPENDENTLY PROVIDE ORIGINAL IDEAS within the deadline, respecting the vision outlined by the client and Pininfarina design management, through the creation of high quality sketches, respecting perspective/proportions/macro feasibility.
Create PHOTO-REAL RENDERS IN PHOTOSHOP, and GIF/Aftereffects/Blender animations if necessary.
Create POLYGONAL MODELS IN BLENDER OR ALIAS SUBD.
Create eye-catching RENDERS IN VRED, KEYSHOT OR BLENDER.
SELF-CREATE ALIAS MODELS to a high standard with clear and evident construction, to provide a solid reference to the CAS team.
ACTIVELY EXPLORE AND INTRODUCE AI TOOLS into the workflow where necessary.
GUARANTEE THE STYLISTIC QUALITY of the 2D and 3D proposals of your team's designers, the material created in Alias/Icemsurf by the CAS team, and that of the physical prototypes, closely following their development in modeling and painting.
Must FOLLOW STYLISTIC/TECHNICAL CONVERGENCE (anomaly sheets).
BE A REFERENCE FOR DESIGN within the studio and contributes to the research and training of new creative resources. Assume a role of official representation towards the Design schools and associated events that will be associated with it.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualification - Diploma/ Bachelors/ Masters in Product/ Automotive/ Transportation Design.
Experience – At least 8 working years.
Languages – English. Italian at an operational level is an adva
