Chief Accountant

Edge - Division of Eurosearch Consultants - specialized in middle management and professionals research, on behalf of a multinational leader in the diagnostic/Health Care business, is searching forCHIEF ACCOUNTANTPosizione:ResponsibilitiesThe Chief Accountant will serve as a pivotal member of the Finance/Accounting team, ensuring the integrity, accuracy and compliance of financial reporting in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP. This role is responsible for managing and overseeing the different facets of accounting across all entities, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures.As a leader of a newly created team, she/he will develop the team identity, engagement, and value creation in the new set-up.Reports to Accounting & Tax Manager and leads a team of 4 Senior Accountants.Coordinate the General Ledger team to ensure timely and accurate reporting for the 10-15 legal entities in Italy, according to Italian and IFRS Gaap.Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly annual financial statements.Reconcile and manage ITA / IFRS Gaap discrepancies.Perform control procedures as specified by the Internal Control System.Oversee the preparation of tax obligations such as periodic VAT settlements, Intrastat and Esterometro submissions, CU freelancers, Mod. 770.Manage relations with industry-specific agencies, statutory auditors, and group auditors.Directly interacts with international group functions and other departments in finance to produce high quality accounting reports or analyses, as well as to handle special projects and ad-hoc requests.Participate in strategic financial projects including upgrades to ERP systems and support of M&A activities.Maintains and improves the RTR process across entities and departments, to ensure efficiency and compliance.Requisiti:RequirementsDegree in EconomicsAt least 5 years of experience as auditor working for the industry or manufacturing or retail sectorVery good English (Business knowledge)Knowledge IAS/IFRSAdvanced knowledge SAP FIAdvanced MS ExcelStrong collaborative and supportive attitudeCan influence/impact decisions, builds trust amongst senior leaders and colleaguesChange agent, walks the talk of transformation, being the paradigm of adoption of new processes and technologyAltre informazioni:Work location: MonzaRIF: BR/ChiefAccountantEdge (Division of Eurosearch Consultants), in charge of the recruiting process, guarantees maximum confidentiality and equal employment opportunity to both genders (L. 903/77).#J-18808-Ljbffr
