PQE Group has been at the forefront of these industries since 1998, with 40+ subsidiaries and more than 2000 employees in Europe, Asia and the Americas.Following a new opportunity, we are currently looking for a Chemical Quality Control Analyst to come join our team in our office in Mendrisio, Switzerland.You will be responsible for:Conduct routine and non-routine chemical analyses of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished pharmaceutical products using various analytical techniques (e.g., HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR).Develop, validate, and implement analytical methods to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulatory standards.Prepare, review, and maintain detailed documentation of analytical procedures, test results, and quality control reports.Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or non-conformances in test results, implementing corrective actions as necessary.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Research Development, Manufacturing, and Regulatory Affairs, to support product development and ensure quality compliance.Participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and responding to audit findings.Stay updated with current regulatory guidelines and industry best practices to ensure compliance with GMP, ICH, and other relevant standards.About you:Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a quality control or analytical laboratory within the pharmaceutical industry.Proficiency in using analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, and FTIR.Strong knowledge of GMP, ICH, and other regulatory requirements related to pharmaceutical quality control.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong organizational and documentation skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Location:Mendrisio, Switzerland - ON SITETravel availability: 70%Next StepsUpon receiving your application, if a match is found, the Recruiting department will contact you for an initial HR interview.
