The company specializes in fixing a wide range of commodities including scrap, pig iron, petcoke, coal, iron ore, steels, and agri products for handy/ultramax vessels.Join Titan Bulkers to chart your course to chartering success!Role DescriptionThis is a full-time Chartering Manager role located in Athens, Greece or Genoa, Italy with flexibility for remote work.The Chartering Manager will be responsible for fixing mainly Handy - Ultramax ships on voyage or t/c trips, various commodities, negotiating charter agreements, and managing relationships with clients and shipowners.
She/He will also analyze market trends, assess trade opportunities, and ensure the smooth execution of charter contracts.QualificationsTrading and Freight expertiseKnowledge of International Business and Commodity MarketsUnderstanding of Maritime industry practicesExcellent communication and negotiation skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work independently and as a part of a teamMin 3-5 years experience in chartering with good knowledge of operations/post-fixtureBachelor's degree in Business, Maritime Studies, or related field is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
