SIMULIA provides innovative simulation technologies that allow customers to develop digital twins of their products, covering a range of domains, from Multi-Body System (MBS) to Structural behavior (FEA) to Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to ElectroMagnetics (EM) and Vibro-Acoustics (VA). For Fluids, SIMULIA's unique portfolio comprises PowerFLOW, our flagship solution based on Lattice-Boltzmann approach, and a modern Navier-Stokes based solver.
Reporting directly to the regional technical director, you will play a key role, leading a growing team of experienced simulation consultants responsible for customer engagements and the technical leadership of the Fluids business within the SIMULIA brand in the South East region.
Role & Responsibilities:
Team Management: Drive technical team performance and development for collective excellence. Project Management: Coordinate technical activities for efficient resource use, meeting business objectives and project deadlines. Technical Management: Lead Fluids-related activities in the South East region. Business Development: Support sales and marketing, identifying and pursuing new opportunities. Pre-Sales: Assess business drivers, tailor solutions, and engage with key stakeholders. Technical Account Management: Advise customers for technical growth and devise tailored strategies. R&D Collaboration: Align customer needs with internal product development. Qualifications:
MSc. or PhD in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Computational Engineering, with a Fluids focus. Solid knowledge of Fluids fundamentals and numerical methods. Minimum 8 years of work experience in Fluids, in Industry or Consulting. Hands-on experience with industrial simulation techniques for Fluids and multi-physics, ideally with Fluids simulation software such as PowerFLOW. Strong leadership and organizational capabilities, with a high level of commitment. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Proficiency in English and Italian (B2 level or higher) is necessary, Turkish optional. Willingness to travel (approx. 25% of the time).
