**Key Responsibilities**:
- Analyze and interpret experimental results efficiently to come through development of new and improved pigment concentrate platforms.
- Maintain and grow an understanding of pigment color concentrates and their production methods, including details of key business unit requirements and use this information to recommend the research and development teams.
- Work closely with regional labs to understand their needs and how to incorporate these needs into new product platforms.
- Work in conjunction with R&D and/or other functions located worldwide on the creation of new product platforms.
- Maintain project information up to date in Compass and ensure timelines are realistic and adhered to.
- Build and maintain a network with technical teams in all regions to communicate progress on projects and understand future needs.
- Work safely, following all lab procedures and chip in to the maintenance of high safety standards.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor or Master degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Engineering or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant coating formulation learning experience
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multi-functional team in an agile, fast-paced, environment
- Outstanding interpersonal with ability to communicate efficiently with colleagues around the globe
- Able to handle difficult technical projects with multiple partners
- Confirmed experience with experimental design (DOE)
- Proven track record to influence and motivate other associates.
