**Your mission**:
In this role you will support the Trade Marketing team in drafting the channel strategy for the Modern Trade channel, with the responsibility of defining the framework to identify new opportunities to invest in the channel and define the engagement rule/model in order to convert them. Additionally, you will lead the segmentation process using different tools and databases in order to draft the proper strategy for the channels with highest potential to invest. Lastly, you will support the Sales team in defining the picture of success and commercial strategy to engage selected POS.
**Responsibilities**:
**Your day to day with us**:
- Lead the sell-in and sell-out analysis to explain performance, guide future decisions, and adjust plans (e.g., category projects, trade story).
- Conduct channel research to identify potential gaps and opportunities.
- Act as the main contact for external providers (GFK, Circana, IRI, Nielsen) for ad hoc research requests.
- Support Sales teams with data and insights, and assist the Revenue team with governance and listing.
- Monitor sell-in/sell-out prices, promotional execution, and compliance with commercial agreements.
- Lead segmentation to identify high-potential points of sale (POS) and strategic areas for targeted growth.
- Collaborate with management to define channel strategy, target POS engagement, and develop incentive plans.
- Lead digital sales tools implementation and optimization to improve user experience and ROI.
Qualifications:
**What will you need to succeed?**
- Degree, preferably in Economics;
- 2-4 years of experience in commercial/trade marketing/sales roles;
- Fluency in both Italian and English language
- Previous experience in research/insights area is a plus.
