Job Purpose: As a Category Manager - Operational (with focus on Cloud solutions) you'll play a key role in supporting the business manager in all aspects of vendor operational management. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to ensure best in class data integrity, system tools and reporting. What You'll Do : Support end-to-end product and vendor lifecycle management, ensuring system accuracy and product adoption and creation in our systemsSupport the vendor pricing strategy/implementation through collaboration with the profit team around exception and corrective managementManage the ship and debit process in conjunction with the central team in BarcelonaCollaborate with the purchasing teamWork with Business Intelligence to produce sales out reports and determine appropriate execution plan based on the findingsCheck quarterly Gross Profit (GP) absolute and percentage quality targetHold operational relationship with vendor peers, to discuss future products, forecasting and planning processes and product sell-outSupport the automation, streamlining and improvement of integrated end to end processesInput into and execution of the business plan in conjunction with the vendor business lead(s)Support the sales floor with pricing, ship and debit and general product queries and order managementWhat We're Looking For : Degree/high school diploma in a business-related subject is desirableCommercial/product experience (in a technology business would be preferable)Experience of SAP R3 and Business Warehouse would be an advantageGood communication skills - English is MandatorDistribution or vendor experience would be an advantageA knowledge of product and technology portfolioIT industry knowledge - Channel, Vendors, Programmes and Competition would be an advantageE-business systemsHighly numerateTime management and prioritising skillsGood MS Excel skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook.Customer FocusInitiativeInterpersonal SkillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong analytical skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyKey Skills What's In It For You?
