Category Buyer – Buckets

Responsibilities:
Manage the entire purchasing process for the bucket category, including supplier selection, contract negotiation and relationship management with existing suppliers.
Constantly monitor the market and identify emerging trends, cost opportunities and new sources of supply.
Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to optimize product quality, costs and availability.
Collaborate closely with the team to ensure a diversified meat assortment suited to the needs of the company's business.
Conduct detailed analysis of category performance, identify strengths and areas for improvement and propose corrective actions.
Maintain clear and regular communication with various company departments, including logistics, marketing and tenders, to ensure efficient management of the flow of goods and a competitive pricing strategy.
Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies regarding quality and sustainability.
Requirements:
Experience in the purchasing sector with a focus on the bucket category is preferable, but we also positively evaluate those who are new to their experience with a desire to learn and grow in the sector.
Knowledge of the bucket market, including product varieties, suppliers and pricing dynamics preferred.
Negotiation skills and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
