CATEGORIE PROTETTE - IT Local SupportFor a leading multinational company in the automation field, we are looking for IT support (Categorie protette) for headquarters in the province of Modena.
The ICT Supporter delivers IT services according to the service catalogue and provides technical support and assistance to internal employees using computer hardware, standard desktop applications, and software applications. The ICT Supporter will troubleshoot and conduct problem determination to identify a problem source and resolution and works closely with the different support teams. This position will be based in Modena, and he/she will need to travel to Milan on a monthly basis.
Responsibilities:First level support (on-location and/or via remote support)Installation, maintenance, and administration of PCs, notebooks, and mobile devicesInstallation, maintenance, and administration of peripheralsResponsible for proper cabling, patching, and mounting of servers and network componentsHandles identity and access managementAcceptance and resolution of hardware and software problems with the user via the central ticket toolDealing with questions and proposed changes from users via the central incident management toolSeek necessary alternativesForward fault messages and questions to responsible parties (2nd Support or further Support)Document the settlement in the central knowledge databaseCooperate in ICT ProjectsSupport in case of security, network, or server problemsProvide extensive IT induction to new startersPractice asset management for IT hardware, software, and equipmentChase leaver's equipment including telephones, laptops, and other equipmentQualifications:A proven IT know-how with IT support experienceExperience with global service desk organizations and processes is helpfulUnderstanding of the ITIL Framework or willingness to attend trainingGood knowledge of current Microsoft products (Windows, Office, Outlook, Teams, etc.)Structured cabling fundamentalsNetwork principles including IP addressing and routingMicrosoft AD user management and access controlWillingness to provide support and presence at both offices (Modena/Milan)
