Day-to-Day Job Description for a Cashier1. Greeting Customers Welcome customers as they approach the checkout counter.Provide friendly and courteous service.2. Handling Transactions Scan items and ensure that the prices are accurate.Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions.Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds according to store policies.Provide customers with receipts and thank them for their purchase.3.
