BREAK THE ICE! Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion, and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina, and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planner with advanced Excel proficiency to join our team as a Cash & Financial Planning Assistant. This role is crucial for maintaining the financial balance between lifetime revenues and costs and managing collections and disbursements.
The ideal candidate will work closely with our team to ensure accurate and timely updates to our cash financial planning, based on P&L financial projections.
Key Responsibilities: Assist the team in continuously and in near real-time updating of cash financial planning based on P&L financial planning. Prepare cash flow and Net Financial Position (NFP) actual reporting, including analysis of variances between actual and forecasted figures. Accurately restate and allocate these variances to the remaining lifetime plan. Transfer the updated budget to the Functional Areas to enable their spending capacity during the preparation for Games as well as during the Games themselves. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or finance. Previous experience working as a financial controller. Proficiency in MS Excel and financial modeling. Ability to adhere to strict deadlines. Excellent mathematical skills. Ability to remain focused for extended periods. Advanced written communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Coordinate and direct the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, and report variances. Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements. Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting. Research technical accounting issues for compliance. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting. Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. Perform additional controller duties as necessary. Other information
