Job Description Job Title: Cart RunnerFLSA Status: HourlyReports To: Guest Services ManagerWhat You'll Do:As a Cart Runner at Festival Foods, your responsibilities will include:Providing Outstanding Service: Ensure that each customer (we call them guests) receives exceptional service in a friendly environment.Creating a Welcoming Atmosphere: Be friendly, courteous, and cooperative while effectively communicating with associates and customers.Upholding Standards: Maintain Guest Services expectations and standards.Cart Collection: Collect shopping carts from the parking lot and surrounding areas, returning them to the store in all weather conditions.Parcel Pickup: Perform prompt parcel pick-up service to enhance customer convenience.Share and Solve: Share customer requests with management to enhance the shopping experience and feel empowered to resolve issues proactively as they arise.Support the Team: Other duties as assigned, including supporting superior customer service initiatives.Honor Commitments: Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences.What We're Looking For:To succeed as a Festival Foods Cart Runner, you should have:Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with associates and customers.Attention to Detail: Ability to read, count, and write accurately.Equipment Operation: Proficiency in operating all necessary equipment to perform the job efficiently.Product Integrity: Ability to bag efficiently while maintaining product integrity.Physical Demands and Work Environment:The physical demands and work environment described below are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
