Carrier Manager, Amazon Transportation ServicesAmazon's Carrier Managers play a central role in our global business.
They keep our complex, international supply chains working seamlessly and efficiently.
You will work closely with multiple stakeholders across Amazon, from Operational teams who are fulfilling customer orders to Retail teams and everything in between.
You'll help us optimise our supply chains to make our customer experience even better and our business more energy and cost efficient.
Key Job ResponsibilitiesContinuous Improvement Management with carriersPartner with teams to advise on and manage operational challengesSupport the planning and organisation of complex projectsSupport Contract management and contract compliance for existing and new routes/carrierRecommend Line Haul carrier allocation to routes/replacements (based on optimum of cost and performance)Prepare and participate in recurrent Ops calls, business reviews, QBRs, Customer Service workshops (to support the improvement plans)Develop relationships with Line Haul providers that facilitate communication and visibility across Amazon's line haul networkTo be successful in this role, you need a passion for making data-driven decisions which will have a direct impact on customer experience.
Some keys to your success are the ability to be an effective communicator to various audiences.
The ability to remain flexible and adapt to learning new tools and systems is instrumental in your role on the team.

A Day in the LifeBeing a Carrier Manager for Amazon involves lots of problem solving.
You'll work with a number of teams to navigate challenges as and when situations impact our network.
You'll spend time resolving temporary issues and looking at the bigger picture to drive Amazon towards achieving new objectives.
This role is both proactive and reactive, and you'll have the opportunity to help forecast and plan for new projects.
As a Carrier Manager, you'll need to help with both on-the-ground tasks and more tactical work.
