Carrier Manager, Amazon Transportation ServicesAmazon's Carrier Managers play a central role in our global business.
They keep our complex, international supply chains working seamlessly and efficiently.
You will work closely with multiple stakeholders across Amazon, from Operational teams who are fulfilling customer orders to Retail teams and everything in between.
You'll help us optimise our supply chains to make our customer experience even better and our business more energy and cost efficient.Key job responsibilitiesContinuous Improvement Management with carriersPartner with teams to advise on and manage operational challengesSupport the planning and organisation of complex projectsSupport Contract management and contract compliance for existing and new routes/carrierRecommend Line Haul carrier allocation to routes/replacements (based on optimum of cost and performance)Prepare and participate recurrent Ops calls, business reviews, QBRs, Customer Service workshops (to support the improvement plans)Develop relationships with Line Haul providers that facilitate communication and visibility across Amazon's line haul networkTo be successful in this role, you need a passion for making data driven decisions which will have direct impact on customer experience.
