Carrier Manager, Amazon Transportation ServicesAmazon's Carrier Managers play a central role in our global business.
They keep our complex, international supply chains working seamlessly and efficiently.
You will work closely with multiple stakeholders across Amazon, from Operational teams who are fulfilling customer orders to Retail teams and everything in between.
You'll help us optimise our supply chains to enhance customer experience and improve business efficiency.Key Job Responsibilities:Continuous Improvement Management with carriersPartner with teams to advise on and manage operational challengesSupport the planning and organisation of complex projectsSupport Contract management and contract compliance for existing and new routes/carrierRecommend Line Haul carrier allocation to routes/replacements based on optimum cost and performancePrepare and participate in recurrent Ops calls, business reviews, QBRs, and Customer Service workshops to support improvement plansDevelop relationships with Line Haul providers that facilitate communication and visibility across Amazon's line haul networkTo be successful in this role, you need a passion for making data-driven decisions that have a direct impact on customer experience.
Key skills include effective communication with various audiences and the ability to remain flexible and adapt to learning new tools and systems.
