ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Career Service Advisor will play a pivotal role in supporting the career development of participants in the Executive Education programs. This role, being placed under the Executive Education area of the H-uman Development division, is responsible for managing the activities related to advising participants on career planning, job market trends, and professional development opportunities. The Career Service Advisor will also build strong relationships with companies and external partners to enhance job placement and networking opportunities for program participants. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with experience in career services, education, or human resources, looking to contribute to the growth and success of executives and professionals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Manage career guidance and coaching activities to Executive Education participants, helping them with job transitions, career advancement, and leadership development. Develop and implement career development strategies tailored to the needs of Executive Education participants, including mid-career professionals and executives. Build and maintain relationships with corporate partners, recruiters, and industry professionals to create networking and job placement opportunities for participants. Organize career workshops, webinars, and networking events in collaboration with external industry leaders and recruitment specialists. Keep up to date with job market trends, industries, and emerging skills, and translate these insights into actionable strategies for participants' career development. Collaborate with the Executive Education team to ensure career services are aligned with the overall goals of the programs and support participants' professional growth. Assist in the preparation of career development materials and resources. Support alumni relations by maintaining connections with program graduates. REQUIREMENTS A master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., human resources, business, psychology) is required. MBA or PhD is considered a plus. At least 3-5 years of experience in career services, recruitment, human resources, or a similar advisory role, preferably in an academic or executive education environment. Strong understanding of job market trends, executive career paths, and leadership development. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with professionals at various stages of their careers. Demonstrated experience in organizing events, workshops, or networking sessions. Knowledge of career coaching tools and techniques, including resume writing, personal branding, and interview skills. Ability to collaborate with corporate partners, recruiters, and external stakeholders to enhance networking and placement opportunities. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Fluency in both Italian and English is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
