Job SummaryThe job will consist of providing support to students in finding placements, including preparing CVs and portfolios, developing interview skills, etc.
The purpose of the job is to prepare and deliver workshops for job hunting, develop relationships with key companies in the fashion and related industries, and create and maintain a database to track and monitor alumni of Istituto Marangoni.
Key Purpose of the Role To provide a placement service to Istituto Marangoni students collaborating with external companies in order to place the maximum number of students.To represent the first contact for students.To organize students' seminars giving information, advice, and suggestions about careers, delivered through CV guidance, interview techniques, cover letters, and knowledge in the design industry.To contribute to raising interest in the careers service department amongst students.To monitor and prepare periodical reports (rates of placed students).To manage the organization of projects for the master classes at least two times per year.To be a support to School departments as a member of the team (open days, academic requests, etc.).To manage the interviews with the students offering them support.To contribute to the organization of promotional events like fashion shows and degree shows.To update the careers service's database regularly.To support the Careers Service & Industry Relation Manager in daily activities and strategic projects.Skills: Proactive and organizational person.Open-minded.Good knowledge of Office Suite.Professional level of English.The knowledge of the Symplicity tool could be a plus.Curricular internships' management could be a plus.Interest in HR / Talent Acquisition / Career Service Activities in the Design sector.
