The position As the Cardio Business Unit Senior Director you will act as an active member of the Italian Leadership Team, contributing to defining affiliate strategy and identifying business growth opportunities. You will develop and implement Cardio business strategy and translate it into actions to create a competitive advantage in the market. You will also orchestrate all marketing and sales strategies, fostering synergies between Heads of Sales and Marketing. Your other responsibilities will be: Track local economic, market, and industry trends to maximize opportunities and minimize risk exposure. Analyze and translate trends, threats, and opportunities in the market in terms of short-term and long-term business implications. Allocate resources across the business unit to maximize sales, market share, and achievement of business objectives. Initiate, build, and maintain strong relationships with key external opinion leaders, HCPs, scientific societies, and healthcare organizations as well as promote cross-functional alignment culture within the BU and with all other functions (Medical, External Affairs, and all staff functions, etc.). Manage performance, development, and succession of direct reports. Qualifications We are looking for a candidate who has: At least 10 years in a multinational pharmaceutical company, in both Sales and Marketing managerial positions. Proven experience in working with cardiology. Fluency in both spoken and written English is required. Proficiency in Italian is highly advantageous.
