RINA is currently recruiting for a Carbon Reduction - Junior Consultant Intern to join its office in Genova, Italy within the ESG & Sustainability Division.MissionThe Environment & Climate Change Unit of RINA is looking for a Carbon Reduction Intern who will support players of the energy, industrial and services sector in the quantification of their GHG emissions and in the identification of decarbonization and energy transition action plans, both at corporate and at product level.Key AccountabilitiesAssist clients in the development and implementation of projects related to quantification and reduction of GHG emissions and climate change mitigationSupport the execution of energy assessments, carbon footprints/life cycle analyses, literature reviews on energy transition topicsFollow up evolving regulatory requirements relating to GHG emissions and energy transitionProvide technical advice to ad-hoc queries from clients and internal staff as neededWork in International, EU and R&D projectsCompetenciesEARN TRUST - Take everyone's opinion into account and remain open to diversityPROMOTE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT - Promote commitment by keeping promises as a Role ModelMANAGE EMOTIONS - Recognise one's and other's emotions and express and regulate one's reactionsADDRESS THE WAY - Have a big picture of different situations and reinterpret it in a perspective wayTHINK FORWARD - Capitalise on experiences and translate them into action plans for the futureEducationMaster Degree in Engineering, preferably Energy Engineering or Environmental EngineeringWith over 5,600 employees and 200 offices in 70 countries worldwide, RINA is a multinational player which provides certification, marine classification, product testing, site supervision and vendor inspection, training and engineering consultancy services across a wide range of sectors.
