We are excited to advertise 11 3-year positions for PhD degrees to begin in 2024 as part of the Horizon Europe Marie Sklodowska-Curie Action Doctoral Network (MSCA DN) CaLiFornia. The focus of this network is on Cartan and differential geometry, Lie theory, quantum groups, and non-commutative geometry for novel and innovative applications to quantum algorithms and geometric deep learning. CaLiFornia aims to push the frontier of research in these two key topics, Lie Theory and Cartan Geometry, in synergy with complementary investigations in quantum groups and non-commutative geometry, including physical applications. The goal is to apply new mathematics from this research to strategic fields such as quantum computing and geometric deep learning, which are top priorities in Horizon Europe. We offer positions in the fields of Cartan geometry, Noncommutative Geometry of Quantum Groups, Quantum Information, Geometric Deep Learning, and Quantum Gravity.
