Calibration Engineer - Automotive

ALTEN Italia - Calibration Engineer ALTEN Italia, working with major companies in the automotive sector, is looking for Calibration Engineers with varying levels of experience ranging from 6 months to 3 years.
The selected candidate will be involved in automotive projects related to calibration, including but not limited to calibration on diesel/gasoline/CNG/hybrid/electric engines, HVAC, ADAS, and On Board Diagnostics.
Responsibilities: Calibration experimentation on engine test benches for diesel/gasoline/CNG/hybrid/electric engines Vehicle calibration Defining the combustion process (emissions, performance), safety, and drivability Diagnostic strategies / EOBD / Troubleshooting Post-processing, after-treatment Vehicle test programming Dataset analysis and calibration control, coordination of release activities Preparation of comprehensive reports based on activities and technical documentation of tests carried out Requirements: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or similar Experience in calibration on engine test benches for diesel/gasoline/hybrid/electric engines Prior experience in engine testing and functional verification Diagnosing anomalies from bench tests, in-vehicle, or on the track Good knowledge of engines, Aftertreatment systems, and ATS Knowledge of one or more of the following tools: ETAS INCA, ETAS MDA, AVL Puma, AVL Concerto, Dianalyzer, CANdela, GT-Power Nice to have: Matlab and Simulink; Good knowledge of the English language.
