Calibration Engineer - Automotive

ALTEN Italia - Calibration Engineer ALTEN Italia, working with leading companies in the AUTOMOTIVE sector, is looking for Calibration Engineers with various levels of experience, ranging from 6 months to 3 years.
The resource will be involved in AUTOMOTIVE projects related to calibration, including calibration on test benches for diesel/petrol/CNG/hybrid/electric motors, HVAC, ADAS, and On-Board Diagnostics.
Responsibilities include: Calibration experimentation on test benches for diesel/petrol/CNG/hybrid/electric motors Vehicle calibration Defining combustion processes (emissions, performance), safety, and drivability Diagnostic strategies / EOBD / Troubleshooting Post-processing, after-treatment Vehicle test programming Dataset analysis and calibration control Preparing comprehensive reports and technical documentation Requirements: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related fields Experience in calibration on test benches for diesel/petrol/hybrid/electric motors Previous experience in engine experimentation and functional verification Diagnosing anomalies from bench tests, vehicle tests, or on the track Good knowledge of engines, After Treatment Systems (ATS) Knowledge of tools such as ETAS INCA, ETAS MDA, AVL Puma, AVL Concerto, Dianalyzer, CANdela, GT-Power Nice to have: Matlab and Simulink, good knowledge of English Work Location: Milan, Turin, Reggio Emilia, Modena Why choose ALTEN: Participate in high-level technological and innovative projects Enhance your skills in a stimulating environment certified Agile Scrum Continued professional development through specialized courses ALTEN promotes diversity, equality, and inclusion in the workplace, evaluating candidates regardless of gender, ethnicity, disability, age, sexual orientation, religion, marital status, personal beliefs, political opinions, union membership, family responsibilities, and socio-economic background.
