Calibration Engineer - Automotive

ALTEN Italia - Calibration Engineer ALTEN Italia, working with major companies in the AUTOMOTIVE sector, is looking for Calibration Engineers with varying levels of experience, from 6 months to 3 years.
The resource will be involved in AUTOMOTIVE projects related to calibration (calibration on diesel/petrol/CNG/hybrid/electric/HVAC/ADAS/On Board Diagnostic engines).
Responsibilities include: Calibration and testing on diesel/petrol/CNG/hybrid/electric engines; Vehicle calibration; Defining combustion processes (emissions, performance), safety, and drivability; Diagnostic strategies / EOBD / Troubleshooting; Post-processing, after-treatment; Programming vehicle tests; Dataset analysis and calibration control; Preparation of comprehensive reports based on activities and technical documentation of tests conducted.
Requirements: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field; Experience in engine calibration testing (diesel/petrol/hybrid/electric); Previous experience in engine testing and functional verification; Anomaly diagnosis from bench, vehicle, or track tests; Good knowledge of engines, After Treatment Systems, and ATS; Knowledge of one or more tools: ETAS INCA, ETAS MDA, AVL Puma, AVL Concerto, Dianalyzer, CANdela, GT-Power; Nice to have: Matlab and Simulink; Good command of the English language.
Workplace: Milan, Turin, Reggio Emilia, Modena.
