Bari is always one step ahead!Job DescriptionWhat will you take care of?The Calibration Engineer is responsible for calibration of work packages within application projects for automotive powertrain, system control, and diagnostic systems, focusing on calibration of ICE powertrain for 2W and 4W applications (motorbikes, passenger cars, and/or commercial vehicles).
The Calibration Engineer will plan the activities, including facilities and resources, and will manage the tracking and progress of calibration work packages.The resource will support the team in the following activities:Ensure fulfillment of calibration project requirements coming from legislation demands, customer requirements, and end-customer UX.Coordinate and execute setup of testing environments at test benches, chassis-dyno (vehicle), as well as on road.Coordinate and execute experimental campaigns, including data post-processing and results evaluation, focusing on drawing conclusions about calibration strategies.Coordinate and prepare customer documentation, attending regular customer meetings.Coordinate, prepare, and participate in testing trips and expeditions.Maintain calibration project documentation according to automotive quality standards.Support the acquisition of further customer projects proactively.Participate actively in technical discussions and requirements analysis with customers and internal stakeholders.QualificationsEducation: Master's Degree in automotive engineering, Mechatronics, control engineering, or similar.Language skills: Good English language skills required; basic knowledge of German is a plus.Experience and know-how: Very good knowledge of various powertrain topologies and architecture about electric vehicle powertrains (EV).
Experience in the automotive systems field and knowledge about control module calibration techniques and automotive standards.Minimum 2-3 years of experience in development/engineering applications.Working Method: Team player attitude within a diverse and multicultural environment, proactive working style, independent, and high customer orientation.Personality: High motivation and willingness to take responsibilities, self-standing personality, flexibility, and ability to work under pressure.
