For important customers in the Automotive Branch, we are seeking a CAD Wiring Harness Specialist with experience in the Automotive area.
CAD DESIGN FOR WIRING HARNESS DEVELOPMENT In the area of Wiring Harness, main tasks and responsibilities typically include:
Using CAD systems for wiring design with specific tools.
Studying layout and packaging for electrical wiring.
Studying fastening systems for wiring installation (clips, channels, cable guides, gaskets, etc.).
Developing routing and installation of cables on vehicles and engines, using CAD CATIA with WIRING application.
Development of 3D models and possibly 2D layouts.
Desired knowledge of applications for 2D drawing of electrical diagrams.
Analyzing geometric and installation problems of components such as cables and studying appropriate solutions, analyzing the assembly process during vehicle assembly.
Experience in design and process for wiring development.
Collecting platform information (Program Planning/Trim level grid/Cost and weight Target).
Working closely with Engineering Specialist Project Chief to schedule all activities.
Determining the best solution in terms of costs/quality in accordance with Product Manufacturing.
TECHNICAL SKILLS: Knowledge of automotive electrics and related integration issues.
Knowledge of Excel program.
CAD competence in Wiring Harness activities in 2D/3D environment (CATIA - PRO_E - Capital Harness).
SOFT SKILLS: Ability to work in a team and organize complex tasks.
Focus on technical details.
Ability to work in multi-cultural teams.
Good problem-solving capability.
Fluent in Italian and English; German (even basic) is appreciated but not mandatory.
EDUCATION: Technical or professional diploma in electrical/electrotechnical/IT or mechanical environment.
