Tyvak International is seeking new members to join their team to support space mission development.
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented CAD Designer – protected categories (L. 68/99) to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed mechanical designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering and design principles, as well as the ability to translate concepts into precise, detailed models and drawings that meet project specifications and standards.
Key Responsibilities: Participate in satellite configuration and mechanical design. Create accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models of satellite systems and subsystems based on project requirements and specifications. Support AIV for the acceptance of designed parts. Ensure all designs adhere to industry standards, company guidelines, and project requirements. Maintain an organized database of CAD files, ensuring version control and proper documentation. Minimum Requirements: Belonging to protected categories (L. 68/99) is mandatory. Previous experience as a CAD designer. BS or MS in Mechanical, Aerospace, or equivalent degree required. Strong mechanical background. Ability to work with solid modeling software and FEA (SolidWorks). Knowledgeable and proficient in applying advanced engineering principles. Knowledgeable of inspection equipment, i.e., micrometers, indicators (usually acquired by machining or other precision hands-on experience). Proficient use of written and oral English language is mandatory. Other Information: Contract type: temporary contract – 12 months with the possibility of extension. Part-time (21 hours per week). Salary and benefits are market competitive. Position expected to be filled as soon as possible.
