We're currently looking for an experienced Buyer willing to join the procurement department on our production site in Genova.
The role holder will be responsible to guarantee supply continuity, ordering the needed components at the right price when they are needed.
The role is Monday to Friday day shifts and, after the training period, there is the possibility to work in Hybrid mode from home and the office.
- Duties & Responsibilities- Work closely with Planning and Logistics to ensure a smooth inbound supply chain process considering parts requirements and suppliers.
- Prepares purchase orders, and negotiates prices to ensure the procurement process goes smoothly, under general guidance.
- Contacts suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries to ensure the resolution of problems such as shortages and missed or late deliveries.
- Minimize the number of past due purchase orders according to the agreed lead-time with the supplier and be responsible for the short, medium and long term performance of the suppliers.

- The Individual- Previous experience in Procurement, or equivalent experience considering the role/product
- Have an analytical mindset with a proven ability to resolve problems and identify solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to cope with multiple complex situations daily.
- Proven negotiation skills and expertise.
- Skillful in Excel and Windows app
- Fluent in English with the ability to influence others
