Atlas Copco Professional Air Division (PAD) is a world leader in the professional and industrial piston compressors.
The Distribution Centre in Torino (TDC) is our main hub in Europe for piston and screw compressors, as well as driers, accessories and tools.
Product Company Robassomero is the main production site of PAD, and also hosts the Divisional HQ.
Traded products (finished machines, pneumatic tools, kits and accessories) are an important part of our Professional Air Division product portfolio.
Within this business, the **Traded Products Buyer** will be the tactical sourcing bridge between the strategic layer, driven by Divisional Product Marketing, and the operational layer, driven by the Turin Distribution Center (TDC).
In this role you will be part of the Sourcing Team of our Product Company (PC) based in Robassomero, Italy.
**What will you deal with in this role?
**
- Due to the marketing-driven nature of this business, you will support the Divisional Product Marketing in developing sound business partnering strategies for traded products and build/maintain a sustainable supply base capable of achieving the highest quality standards, competitive costs and an efficient logistic setup.
- You will coordinate with Engineering Team to guarantee consistency of technical, quality and conformity documentation from Suppliers.
- You will coordinate with Turin Distribution Center to support availability of products, guaranteeing the best total cost of ownership and optimize all other purchase conditions.
- Together with Planning Team you will closely monitor on time in full (OTIF) supplier delivery performance and set action plans where needed.
- You will focus on continuous improvement: lead time and lot size reductions are essential in optimizing total supply chains.
- You will negotiate supply conditions with suppliers and ensure agreements are documented and formalized in comprehensive supply contracts, in accordance to given specifications.
- In strict cooperation with Product Marketing and Global Sourcing you are asked to:
- Evaluate global supply base to report technical trends, product trends and cost evolution, to ensure optimization of the related sourcing strategy and to rationalize the Company's product offering.
- Analyze performance and spend of suppliers / commodities to leverage consolidation of volume, drive cost optimization and ensure a sustainable supply base.
- You will be the Sourcing reference for the Purchase-to-Pay process within the TDC organization.
- You will act as a liaison person between the PC and TDC for all the sourcing-related aspects.

You also have:
- Bachelor's degree in the areas of Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or equivalent combination of education/experience.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in sourcing area in manufacturing or trading companies.
- Demonstrated expertise in procurement and supply management processes.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate prices, terms & conditions, contracts.
- Knowledge of compressors and/or pneumatic tools and/or DIY business is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office basic tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams.
- Knowledge of specific Office365 tools such as SharePoint, PowerBI, PowerAutomate is a plus.
- Experience working with SAP is a plus.
