In order to strengthen our Purchasing Team, we are looking for a Buyer, based in Maranello (Italy).
In this position, your mission will be to manage activities such as scouting, evaluating, and mapping new suppliers, and to follow the development of supplier partnerships.
As part of the team, you will be responsible for:
Supplier scouting and benchmarking.Managing purchasing budget, negotiations, and technical reviews.Supporting the R&D Office in new sourcing strategies.Communicating with suppliers and internal partners to monitor product development.Performing requests for quotation.In order to succeed in this challenging role, you will ideally have achieved excellent academic results and have at least 3 years of experience in a dedicated purchasing/buying environment.
Ideally, you have gained experience in other Automotive Companies or in high-tech, innovative, or engineering sectors. In Ferrari, you must exhibit the capability to work in a highly dynamic and fast-changing environment, think analytically and structured, and demonstrate strong communication skills (such as the ability to listen as well as in-depth reasoning).
Since you will interact with foreign suppliers, fluent English is a must-have, and we really appreciate candidates with international experiences and a multicultural mindset.
