Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will play a vital role in the procurement team for Electrification Smart Buildings. You will provide assistance to the wider business by ensuring that all purchasing activities align with corporate policies and procedures and by providing relevant market information. Each day, you will purchase materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring the purchase activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Negotiating agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renewing price lists and terms and conditions.Purchasing materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms.Initiating purchase orders according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures.Overseeing supplier performance (on-time delivery, quality, lead time) and resolving performance issues.Identifying and qualifying new suppliers together with supplier quality and engineering specialists.Aligning supplier orders with customer requirements in terms of content, quality, delivery, sustainability, and price.Qualifications for the roleMaster Degree in Economy or Engineering field.New graduates or 2 years of experience working in procurement.Knowledge of Excel, SAP, Ariba.Fluent in English (written and spoken).A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.More about usWe value people from different backgrounds.
