RINA is currently recruiting for a Buyer to join its office in Genoa (Italy) within the Italy Supply Chain Division.
Mission The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Supply Chain team by conducting supplier research, evaluating supplier credibility, negotiating with small to medium-sized suppliers, and assessing orders from Business Units. This position may also involve supporting business processes from BID stages through project implementation.
Key Accountabilities Support Supply Chain Strategy ImplementationEnsure adherence to Supply Chain guidelines, policies, and regulatory requirementsVendor Management and performanceMaintain and update the Vendor List with detailed supplier informationDevelop and maintain detailed performance scorecards and risk passports for suppliersEvaluate supplier performance across multiple dimensions and ensure complianceSupplier Relationship ManagementConduct thorough assessments of supplier capabilities and maintain strategic relationshipsRisk MonitoringSupport regular risk assessments and monitor the risk passport processPurchase ManagementManage the issuance, receipt, and detailed evaluation of RFQs and bidsManage PR and POCollaborate with technical teams and participate in Tender Clarification MeetingsTarget SettingDefine target prices and commercial conditions and communicate these to vendorsData Analysis & ReportingSupport the analysis of Supply Chain data and generate reports to support decision-making Education Bachelor's Degree in Economics
Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management
