Each day, you will ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures.
You will also showcase your expertise by identifying new suppliers in cooperation with the relevant category team.
The work model for the role is: ONSITE.You will be mainly accountable for:Initiating Purchase Orders in the system, according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, and confirming delivery with suppliers, monitoring, and tracking supplier performance to PO requirements.Negotiating agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renewing price lists and terms and conditions.Recommending frame agreements to management and executing upon approval.Analyzing and evaluating bids to determine the optimal value.Our team dynamicsYou will join a dynamic, talented, high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.Qualifications for the roleBachelor degree in supply chain, business, or technical fieldMinimum 2 years experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or related business.SAP or ERP experience required.Knowledge of ABB initiatives related to SAP Ariba and CFIN/FTP.Strong knowledge of Microsoft including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and OutlookExcellent analytical and communication skills.Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.More about usABB Installation Products Division (formerly ThomasBetts), helps manage the connection, protection and distribution of electrical power from source to socket.
