About HTSAre you looking to join a dynamic and growing organisation with real opportunities for career progression?HTS is a leading Electronics Manufacturing Solutions provider offering services that cover the entire electronics product life-cycle, from design to manufacturing and on through to maintenance and repair.HTS has achieved double-digit growth year on year for the last years and as part of its ongoing investment and expansion strategy is now seeking a talented and ambitious individual to join its vibrant purchasing team, based at its facility.About the Role As a BuyerYou will be joining an established, pro-active and enthusiastic purchasing team to fulfil the following responsibilities:To purchase in line with MRP driven demand.To perform analysis from the MRP demand and place orders in line with demand and time horizons.Database Maintenance of supplier pricing and standard cost.System administration of cleansing of purchase open orders.Support customer order bank and ensure the placement of purchase orders in a timely manner to achieve customer due date.To purchase from existing suppliers and seek direction to support strategic projects and initiatives.To always purchase at optimum pricing and apply leverage where applicable of category spend.To ensure all purchase orders are received, acknowledged and promise dates are updated in the database.To ensure the timely receipt of inventory in line with working capital.Communicate with suppliers to ensure quotes are received within a set timescale.To perform expediting duties to maintain supplier delivery date and ensure promise date is updated to reflect actual delivery date.Develop and maintain good communication skills with the Account Management team.Foster and develop relationships with internal stakeholders.Enact material re-schedules upon advisement from Account Managers.Work closely with stores to identify any delays/issues in receiving parts.Requirements for the RoleMust be able to work under pressure and work to tight deadlines.Excellent numerical skills.Strong communication and organisational skills.Ability to use own initiative.Work as part of a team.Flexible.Attention to detail.Time management.To provide an excellent standard of customer service to both our internal and external customers.Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office packages.Electronics background desirable.Company BenefitsSalary dependent on experience.Opportunities for career progression.Training and full induction provided.Free secure onsite parking.Pension contribution scheme.20 days holiday.Hours of Work: Mon-Fri 8.30am-17.30pm.#J-18808-Ljbffr
