For a Europe's leading digital education, Coworking Network, Digital Transformation and Change Management provider we are searching for a:
Business Unit Lead
Mission:
The Business Unit Lead is in charge of Energy & Utilities Business Unit, with overall responsibility on the P&L, people management, and business results.
Oversees and drives the performance of the business unit, to ensure that the division meets its goals and objectives, while working toward the larger goals of the company as a whole together with the other Industry Leads.
Main responsibilities:
- Develop the strategy for the industry, relying on study on the industry and relevant trends (HR, innovation) and leveraging on personal connections as well as the network of internal stakeholders and other units;
- Set the budget and business goals for the Industry;
- Will be in charge of the P&L of the unit and responsible to initiate, plan, execute, monitor and review business project activities and ensure their completion within a scheduled period and budget;
- Define recruitment needs and promote talents discussing training needs with the Function Masters;
- Identify campaigns and marketing strategies relevant for the industry;
- Enlarge the industry network, being responsible for promoting the Company among industry experts and stakeholders;
- Participate in the development of new products and services, as well as communication plans, dedicated to the specific industry in collaboration
with the L&D and PM teams;
- Share the strategy internally with relevant stakeholders, and aligns with the (eventual) other Client Partners on target customers and prospects;
- Develop detailed account plans for bigger customers and targets;
- Become the reference point for the customers in terms of future skills development and Innovation;
- Collaborate with the Program Deployment team to assure the quality of our products and services and identify upsell and cross sell opportunities.
Knowledge and experience:
- Sales and account management;
- HR and talent strategies;
- Networking in the Energy & Utilities Industry;
- Business planning and target setting;
- Procurement politics handling.
Main competences:
- A networking person, able to establish and maintain long-lasting relationships with important stakeholders;
- A reference person for the learning & innovation sector, already counting on an established portfolio of relationships;
- A strategy maker;
- A professional with excellent communication and presentation skills;
- A negotiator who can easily manage important deals and demanding clients;
- Passionate about the ecosystem of innovation, startups, digital transformation and relevant HR and talent strategies;
- At ease in a changing and growing environment, working with cross-teams;
- Fluent in oral and written English.
