In Sky IT – Digital Customer Product Line we want the Sky Customers to develop their relationship with Sky through our Digital Products, working to make them effective, performant, stable, and engaging.Thanks to your knowledge of the Digital Products, as a Business Technical Analyst (BTA) you will play a central role in the area being a technical/functional reference for the Agile Product Teams, the Business Analysts team, and the Governance team.The BTA area is primarily responsible for analyzing detailed solutions to facilitate and support the development team's work.Solution analysis involves designing the APIs required for communication with third-party systems (middleware, CMS, etc.)
and, once exposed to clients, defining how these Digital Clients should use them.The Business Technical Analyst will need to interact with both the development team and project functional stakeholders.
Additionally, they will need to talk to Security and Architecture teams to design secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
In some cases, it will also be necessary to talk directly to Business Stakeholders to formulate counterproposals and alternative solutions to the requirements.As a BTA you will be part of an Agile Team, usually working in Scrum or Kanban to manage customers' needs flexibly.
The BTA can often act as a Technical Lead in big complex projects.Main Responsibilities:Analysis activities and documentation creation to support the Agile Development Team.Help moderate negotiation and simplification of detailed requirements to fit both cost constraints and solution quality.Participation in high-level solution design discussions.Support in identifying the best solutions, collaborating with Architects, other system representatives, Lead Engineers, etc.Support for Functional Analysts and development teams during development.Support for Quality Assurance (QA) during testing phases: SIT/UAT/E2E/trials.Support for Project Managers, IT Business Partners (ITBP), and Delivery Managers of Agile Squads throughout the initiative's lifecycle and post rollout.Required Skills:Excellent analytical and synthesis skills.Inclination and curiosity for innovation in the Digital Integration field.Flexibility and ability to embrace challenges.Problem-solving skills and quick learning.Good communication skills.Proficiency in the English language.Ability to perform reverse engineering in code, both back-end and client-side.Previous experience as a Software Engineer.
