Description : Mercer is seeking candidates to join our Commercial Acceleration Team (CAT Team) as a Business Development Specialist in our Office based in Milan . What can you expect? We will count on you to : Develop Mercer's business in partnership with the other Marsh McLennan businesses; Identify potential customers and generate leads through various methods, such as cold calling, email campaigns, and networking events; Manage sales campaigns and other initiatives, create sales proposals, presentations and RFP responses which creatively and effectively address complex prospect needs and appropriately communicate the Company business value of services and offerings; Execute sales goals by maintaining a large book of business and by conducting frequent sales presentations, calls and meetings in partnership with each Practice to deliver client needs; Negotiate contracts and fees with clients under the guidance of the Chief Commercial Officer; Manage reporting to inform Senior Leaders about the progress; Keep abreast of Industry developments and trends, participate in events and conferences representing the Company and have a broad and powerful professional network. What you need to have : Degree in Economics or Management; At least 2 years in a client-facing roles or previous sales experience, demonstrating knowledge of sales processes and ability to work in a sales environment; A strong interest or knowledge in HR field like Workforce & Organization Transformation, Compensation and Benefit systems, Performance management and Talent development, Digital Transformation and Change management. Fluent in written and spoken Italian and English; Systematic and pragmatic approach; Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks; Ability to work independently and within a team-based environment.
