The Data Appeal Company is looking for a **Business Development Rep for the Financial Services Institutions, Banking or Fintech industry**; as a BDR you will generate sales opportunities for the Sales team by identifying, contacting and qualifying prospects.
**Overview**
- Grows revenue by identifying and pursuing opportunities with new or existing customers in the Financial Services Institutions, Banking or Fintech industry.
- Focuses on growing market share, market acceptance, the number of customer touch points
- Sets sales strategy aligned with geography and segment strategy
- Responsible for pipeline management at the segment level
**Key accountabilities of the role**
- Develops the sales pipeline, coordinating with product development and Sales account management teams
- Prospects, contacts, and contracts new customers and business partners to improve market acceptance
- Plays a lead role in conversations with key decision makers for new or emerging product opportunities
- Provides input for long-term growth strategies to optimize mutual profitability across business lines
- Plays a key role in developing financial modeling and business cases for development opportunities in Financial Services Institutions, Banking or Fintech industry.

**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Business, Marketing or related field;
- Minimum of 2/3 years of experience in sales, BD, or marketing position;
- Fluency in English.
Bilingual or additional languages fluency (French, Spanish, Portuguese, German) is a strong plus;
- In-depth experience executing and managing business development strategies for Financial Services Institutions, Banking or Fintech industry;
- Track record in achieving business development targets and building customer relationships through customer sales;
- Demonstrated success introducing existing and new/emerging solutions into Financial Services Institutions, Banking;
- A can-do attitude and a personality that enables you to rapidly build strong relationships with customers and partners;
- Experience with CRM software (knowledge of HubSpot CRM system is a plus);
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision;
- Strong time management and organizational skills;
- Ability to identify opportunities and to develop and implement effective sales strategies;
