Job Brief We are looking for an enthusiastic sales and marketing freelancer to join our team and provide creative ideas to help achieve our goals. You are responsible for driving business growth within re/sources 3, nurturing and developing our network of contacts to retain and attract new clients, researching new market opportunities, and overseeing growth projects.
As a Business Development freelancer, you will directly collaborate with our CEO in all stages of your prospects and customer outreach work. Your insightful contribution will help develop, expand, and maintain our business model. You will support Business Development with Direct Clients Contact and also Content email campaigns and Social Media strategy to support your sales goals.
Your role is to sell and develop marketing campaigns for suppliers of sustainable beauty solutions. As a marketing professional, you will support clients' campaigns and provide reports and analytics on clients' campaigns. An understanding of marketing campaigns and analytics is crucial.
This role will help you acquire business development strategy, content development, and provide you with knowledge in sustainable strategies for the beauty industry. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in sales and marketing and should be prepared to enter any fast-paced work environment.
This role will involve international travel to industry events in Europe (France, Italy), Asia (HK), or America (NY, LA) where needed.
Responsibilities Develop and build sales and marketing strategies
Help develop strategies for capturing target clients and prospects
Prospect clients and introduce them to re/sources's unique position in sustainability through creative outreach
Engage prospects to learn about their business and qualify based on re/sources brand criteria for success
Generate new business opportunities
Support clients' marketing campaign planning and execution
Assist in the creation of written and social media content where appropriate
Measure and report results of marketing initiatives for clients' campaigns
Develop marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g., social media, direct mail, and web) to support your sales strategy
Requirements and Skills A drive to seek new business
Strong desire to learn along with professional and entrepreneurial drive
Solid understanding of different marketing techniques
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of Web, LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok strategies
French as a second language is necessary for this role
Excellent knowledge of Google office tools
Familiarity with marketing analytics
Initiative and good decision-making skills
Strong organizational skills
Strategic and analytical thinking skills
Ability to write reports
Passion for the beauty industry and its best practices
Understanding of sustainability
The position is a freelance position paid with a monthly fee + commission on sales. It can be fully remote with weekly calls and tasks. We will organize regular meet-ups in London with the founder and team members (once a month).
