We have a new vacancy for a motivated Business Development Manager responsible for developing and managing relationships with Avnet Embedded customers across the South European region, with a focus on Italy.
You will drive the design chain value proposition by generating the greatest number of design wins in technologies and registrations for customers engaged in product design resulting in growing business. Also, you will interface with the engineering departments of customers and suppliers. Therefore, you will perform a variety of product, technical and engineering functions including but not limited to: pre/post sales support, research, design and development.
What you will be doing: Identification of net new, large projects in Italy. Technical advisory function for sales regarding the product lines and customer inquiries. Convincing presentation of new Embedded Computer products and solutions. Leading contact in the first phase of a new project request. Support of projects with technical expertise. Together with product and/or solution management, coordination of internal resources for a successful project management. Design-Win responsibility and reporting. Support of the forecast process. Support of product marketing with regards to product definitions, service & support definition, risk assessment, pricing strategies decisions. Market and competition analysis. What we are looking for: Technical degree in Electronics preferred. Experience with embedded computer modules and boards. Ability to interact professionally internally, with partners and customers. Very good understanding of the commercial and technical aspects in the Microprocessor industry. Ability to present and communicate professionally. Ability to work pro-actively in an organized and engaged manner, but also with a level of creativity. Goal-oriented, self-driven, flexible. Very good Italian language skills (verbally and in writing) and English. Ability to travel if business reasons require. What's in it for you? Hybrid working model.
