Your role: The business in Italy is strongly growing, and we are looking to hire a Business Development Manager Senior / Junior Italy who will help us deal with existing and establish new business opportunities in Italy. Operating from our office in Milan, you will be the bridge to our local Managing Director and Italian business partners and solidify Debitos as the 1 player in the Italian market. As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for Debitos' growth in Italy – identifying opportunities, driving revenue, and supporting management to make the right decisions. Your responsibilities: Execute the growth strategy for the Italian market together with management, generate sales, and create new business opportunities while managing sales processes. Build brand awareness, plan and lead marketing activities for the region, and drive successful marketing projects. Research the market, provide market insights, and identify the most promising potential clients and partners. Adapt the platform and materials to the cultural differences of Italian users. Work cross-functionally to maximize the market's full potential. Requirements: University degree in business studies, economics, marketing, or a comparable field. At least 3 years of hands-on work experience in business development, sales, or business advisory in the area of banking, servicing, or non-performing loans; start-up experience is a plus. Native or equivalent Italian and English skills. Flexibility to travel between Germany and Italy. Hands-on mentality, able to balance long-term strategic work with operations and execution. Pragmatic thinker with strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and with high attention to detail, while being a team player.
