**Explore your tasks and responsibilities**:
- With a strong focus on sales and sales strategies, you will develop long-term and trusting cooperations with already established and new customers in your target market - Pharma and Life Sciences (BLS)
- You are constantly making new contacts to identify opportunities and acquire projects for Exyte, while at the same time being closely oriented towards technology and technical progress
- You will work together both within your business development team and across all departments, e.g.
proposal management and operations
- To maintain and continue developing your professional and technical knowledge, you will attend training seminars and trade fairs and proactively engage in professional associations
- You conduct technical and commercial contract negotiations and engage with our proposal management & operations teams to create contract-winning proposals for current and prospective clients
- Identifying potential clients in the target market, perform research on prospective client's business needs, arrange business meetings with prospective clients; conduct company-/project presentations
**Show your expertise**:
- Ideally, you have completed your studies in the field of biotechnology, pharmaceutical or process engineering, medical devices or a related field of study such as food technology
- Your minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in business development, key account management or sales as well as in setting up sales structures in Pharma will enable you to develop competitive solutions and drive the growth
- You have a basic understanding of planning and building high-tech factories or, alternatively, a deep understanding of the (bio-)pharmaceutical value chain from target identification, clinical development, production capacity building and qualification & validation
- Thanks to your distinctive entrepreneurial vision and your commitment, you are in a position to actively drive developments forward - see it, own it, drive it
- Your Italian language skills are business fluent, preferable mother tongue - and you have a good command of the English language
- You have excellent innovation-, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills combined with a positive attitude
- You are willing to spend up to 50% of your time traveling and in our office in Agrate Brianza.
- You are technically strong, have a quick comprehension and are used to working together in a team with a customer focus
