**Join us and make an impact**
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as the Development Manager Sardinia, specializing in the renewable energy sector with a specific focus on wind, solar, and battery storage projects.
In this role, you will have the responsibility to drive business, establishing and maintaining strategic relationships with local decision-makers, overseeing energy trading activities, and providing valuable market intelligence and insights.
**What you will do**
- Identifying potential sites for development of onshore wind and PV power plant projects
- Establishing a network for sourcing the RES projects
- With support of DRI engineering team, making assessment of the of the sites and preparing business cases for investment decision
- With support of the DRI M&A team, negotiating terms of acquisition and/or co-development of the existing onshore wind and PV projects on different development stages
- Executing project acquisition and co-development agreements
- Preparing and control over development budgets for bringing projects to FID an RTB stages
- In cooperation with consent manager (grid) of DRI, leasing with TSO (HOPS) and DSO terms of the EOTRPs and executing grid connection agreements
- With support of engineering team of DRI, preparing basic design for the projects
- Securing state and private land plots for the projects
- Initiating changes to the local spatial plans introduce onshore wind and PV projects at selected locations
- Initiating environmental impact assessment studies and elaborates, arranging public hearings and obtaining final EIA clearance for the projects
- Arranging wind monitoring campaigns
- Arranging geodetic and geologic surveys
- Being a key contact in liaising with local municipalities, state authorities, landowners, and other stakeholders on all development stages of the projects
- In cooperation with public relations team of DRI, supporting CSR initiatives of the DRI in municipalities of projects' location
- Managing and coordinating external contractors (engineers, designers, surveyors, counsels, etc.)
and internal units of DRI to bring the projects to FID and RTB stages
- Supporting procurement team of DRI in selection of external contractors for performance of specialized tasks required for project development
- Liaison with construction team of DRI to ensure effective handover of the RTB reached projects into the construction phase
- Providing support to in-house legal team of DRI in preparation of the development related contracts
- Providing support to the construction team of DRI on development related matters
- Performing all other development related activities required for successful reaching by onshore wind and PV power plant projects an FID and RTB stages within the set time and budget
**What you bring**
- Education degree (bachelor or master), preferably degree in the field of project management or engineering
- At least 3 - 5 years of in field experience working on development of onshore wind and/or PV power plants in Italy
- Excellent communication skills, both written (presentations, reports, documents) and spoken
- Excellent command of Italian and English.
Additional foreign language is a plus
- Comprehensive knowledge of MS-Office.
Knowledge of MS Project is a plus
- Readiness to local and international business trips on a short notice for around 30% of time
- Aim-oriented, proactive and communicative personality with entrepreneurial thinking
