Business Development Manager (m/f/d) Your responsibilities: One part of the transformation activities is the setup of a global Account management that represents Hitachi's voice to targeted customers, fully understanding their needs while increasing Hitachi's share of wallet.
The Business Development Manager's main mission is to support in finding and taking advantage of new business opportunities across Hitachi.
This involves working with regional teams and business units to create and follow sales plans and managing cross-functional projects.
The manager supports building strong customer relationships, presents business proposals, and carries out growth plans in various markets.
In collecting customer success stories, they ensure Hitachi's value proposition meets market needs.
Support the definition, development, and execution of growth opportunities identified by GMS in collaboration with regions and the BU's.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to drive business development projects.
Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to stakeholders.
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.
Execute growth initiatives across the different accounts and segments.
Support in collecting the success stories and customer testimonials.
Help to bring pilot opportunities for new accounts or products whenever required.
Support the organization in the execution of solution launches.
Act as the interface/bridge between internal functions and departments, sites, and countries.
Understand segment/channel/customer application and engineering needs in the market.
Analyze results and assist with corrective actions as necessary.
Your profile We're looking for a team player who is motivated by delivering great work and the Hitachi vision.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and background: Demonstrate and show a clear history of being able to work and operate across Hitachi and the ability to communicate clearly and confidently at all levels.
Good understanding of Hitachi's portfolio knowledge on addressing specific customer needs and market challenges.
Strong can-do attitude with a proactive mindset to commitment and execution.
Demonstrate an ability to influence and deliver specification sales of the product portfolio.
Willingness and openness to travel occasionally when required.
Cultural sensitivity and openness to work in an international business environment across all time zones.
Excellent English level; Japanese proficiency is a great plus.
