JOB DESCRIPTION CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS This position is accountable for developing MRO (Maintenance Repair Operations) projects and managing a profile of large End User/Land Asset owner accounts to maintain and increase sales/growth and market share for the P&M Division. This position is accountable for sourcing and developing relationships with high-value existing and potential Protective end user customers that ultimately leads to increased sales, margin, market share and profit growth throughout the Protective business segment. Position will serve as the single point of contact and will manage customer relationships, procurement, and coordinate pricing across the UK & Ireland region. Ultimately, the goal of this position is to make Sherwin-Williams the supplier of choice of large national organizations for their project needs in their respective locations.
Will report into the UK & Ireland Sales Manager, and work alongside the Area Sales Managers and Regional Project Development Managers to ensure that multiple customer locations receive the same level of service program offerings. The MRO Representative must be able to effectively utilize resources, technical marketing, and work with preferred contractors to meet customer expectations and achieve long-term sales/market growth. Will work with Product Marketing to create awareness of new products to serve customer needs.
Will manage Land Asset/End User accounts and develop relationships with key decision makers in order to make Sherwin Williams their number one choice for Protective Coatings in the Energy sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES P&L Responsibility for assigned accounts & projects. Implement marketing programs for the assigned accounts and related business. Develop strategies to increase market share nationally. The go-to person for these Regional or Divisional projects, single point of contact. Negotiating contractual agreements with the assigned accounts. Development and maintaining of customer communications, number of facilities and locations. Development and maintenance of customer pricing and customer coatings specifications (if applicable). Management from prospection to finalization of the Protective projects, assigning and supervising execution with the Area Sales Managers. Work to develop relationships in the UK & Ireland (where needed Globally) e.g Sellafield, Exxon, Essar, BP etc. Develop large maintenance and repair opportunities e.g major refurbishments of Land Assets in the energy sector. Work closely with other P&M divisions to develop cross selling opportunities i.e. Functional, ICB and HPF.
