Leading company in collecting and storing third-party biological samples, and in the designing and realization of turnkey storage solutions, is looking for a:
**Business Development Manager**
The full-time Business Development Manager participates to the ambitious growth plan of the company. In this highly visible role, you will have the opportunity to expand the services of the company in Europe and outside, to develop the client base, to manage key accounts, and to work very closely with the different practices to achieve the goals. The role directly reports to the Chief Commercial Officer.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Develop new business across different division: analytical laboratory and crio preservation services, by identifying synergies between practice areas and leveraging existing accounts or by building opportunities with new accounts
- Maintain regular and active contact with new and existing clients to ensure that the company stays top of mind for their full range of services
- Work closely during the business development process - building proposals, budgets and/or negotiation strategies, etc. with the leaders of other divisions to maximize chances to close new engagements
- Track current and past clients, including follow-up, deadlines, and metrics, utilizing Salesforce and other tools
- Create and review new business proposals and budgets for potential clients
- Provide regular updates to the leadership team regarding business development metrics and goals
- Ensure that CRM system is kept current
- Participate in internal, client/sponsor, and other meetings as required
- Manage and resolve conflicting priorities to deliver on commitments
**Requirements**:
- University Degree
- 3-5+ years of professional experience in business development, within services' companies in the healthcare sector
- Availability to travel - both domestic and international, up to 40% of the time - valid passport
- Proven ability to be careful, thorough, and detail-oriented
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast
- paced environment
- Ability to problem-solve unstructured or ambiguous challenges
- Strong command of English, both written and verbal
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customer service orientation
- Self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, yet less structured team environment
- Outgoing and personable nature with the ability to quickly engage with potential clients and form relationships with new people
