**Job Summary**:
We are looking for a Business Development Manager.
You will be responsible for developing and driving your defined tasks within the strategy of Business Development in Italy with a strong focus on growth ambitions and business performances.
This position will be located in Rubiera (Reggio Emilia) but a strong attitude to travel all around the world with several days offsite are key part of the job.
**What you will do**:
- Build and manage directly a network of relationships within canned food distribution channels mainly in UK, North Europe and Germany, working in collaboration with Italian sales stake-holders of Tetra Pak Customers to expand the presence of Tetra Recart, the Carton alternative to cans and glass jars, in the canned food business.
- Monitor & explore all categories in this segment but targeting all the new business opportunities to sell Tetra Recart & Made In Italy value to new prospects, creating a strong pipeline of projects to support Tetra Pak business growth;
- Collaborate with Key Account Teams and Tetra Pak organization to support our co-packers on catching all the opportunities of new contracts;
**We believe you have**:
Studies related to food industry are a plus.
You have proven experience within sales and business development and a good knowledge or experience in marketing in the food segment, canned food is a plus.
You have a combination of commercial acumen and knowledge on prospecting, sales planning, value selling.
As a person you have excellent interpersonal and networking skills and you can create strong professional relationships with different level of stakeholders.
You are able to work in partnership with customers and colleagues, understanding their needs, exchanging information and supporting to achieve common goals.
You have analytical skills and the ability to be aware of the business and its commercial environment, including options, constraints and opportunities.
You can establish and follow up objectives, priorities, constraints, action plans and budget.
You have the capacity to make things happen in the organization and you can get others to see and believe in your point.
