**About the role**:
In this newly established position of Business Development Manager - Southern Europe, you'll be responsible for:
- the profitable revenue growth for BFM® fitting in the region, including the Original Equipment Manufacturers' sector and through our established distributor network
- building relationships with our Distributors, helping them to identify and grow opportunities within their markets, as well as provide training and technical support to them
- growing relationships with multinational businesses, large OEM organizations and other key end-users
- creating a pipeline of leads and developing them to being sales ready through our sales pipeline
- attending Tradeshows and undertaking customer site visits in conjunction with Distributors
- contributing to the successful implementation of marketing strategies by providing us with local market insights and research.
**To succeed in this position, you'll need**:
- a Bachelor's degree in business, management, or engineering
- a high-level sales background, including familiarity with the manufacturing industry, and bulk powder handling in particular
- a successful track record in B2B sales and negotiation
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- proficiency with data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
- very high levels of drive and self-motivation
- to live in Milan, Italy, and be prepared to travel throughout Southern Europe as required
- to be able to speak Italian, French, and English.
